While a gentlemen's agreement between friends is still observed, most transnational business deals require the parties to sign written contracts.

Similarly, every transaction requires a receipt (either a receipt or an invoice).

Every time you hire a new employee, a number of relevant legal documents must be drawn up.

Did you notice that the word order is quite different in the Spanish and English versions of the last sentence? Yes, things cannot always be translated literally. Word for word translation is one of them the most common mistakes English speakers make in Spanish.
