University of Liberty
Liberty University is a private Christian university and is actually one of the top 5 Christian universities in the world.
Located in Lynchburg, Virginia, Liberty University is home to over 15,000 students enrolled in various courses in addition to 94,000 students enrolled in their online courses.
The university consists of 17 faculties or schools, each with its own specialty. There are more than 600 courses to choose from, including some of the most in-demand in law, medicine, aviation, film and business.
Liberty University track teams are popularly known as the Liberty Flames and also have their own college football team. Liberty University's mission statement is to ensure that its students gain theoretical knowledge and practical exposure so that they are ready for gainful employment in the world.
California State University (Fullerton)
The California State University system is an unimaginably large family of 23 university campuses, of which the Fullerton campus is one of the largest not only in the state of California but in the entire United States.
In fact, the Fullerton campus is the third most popular CSU campus in terms of the number of transfer applications received for CSU, Fullerton.
The university has a total enrollment of over 40,000 students with a faculty of over 2,000. It offers 109 different degrees spread across its undergraduate and graduate schools and colleges.
Some of the most popular universities are Arts, Business and Economics, Communications, Education, Engineering and Computer Science, and Health and Human Development. The Fullerton campus has also been designated as a Care Facility for Native Asians and Pacific Islanders (AANAPISI).
Texas A&M (Universitätsstation)
The original founding member of the Texas A&M University System, Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas is the state's premier university and the only university in Texas designated as a Land, Sea and Space Scholarship University.
It is a public research university and currently hosts research projects funded by organizations such as NASA, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institutes of Health.
The university consists of 10 faculties and 18 research institutes, which together offer more than 150 courses at different levels. Its campus covers a whopping 5,200 acres and is also home to the renowned George Bush Presidential Library.
More than 64,000 students are currently enrolled at Texas A&M, which includes a volunteer Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. It is one of the few universities in the United States that has also been referred to as a Senior Military College.
University of Central Florida
When we look at the number of students enrolled, the University of Central Florida definitely tops the charts as the largest university in the United States.
It was founded in 1963 as the Technical University of Florida with the primary purpose of assisting the government in its space program.
However, over the years the university has expanded its academics into many other disciplines, becoming the University of Central Florida in 1978. Even today, however, the university is considered the leading university for space scholarships.
Current enrollment statistics show that over 66,000 students are enrolled in various majors at the University of Central Florida. The student body is also a very diverse group, with students from 157 different countries enrolled here.
The main specializations here include courses such as health sciences, psychology, biomedicine, nursing, mechanical engineering and integrated business administration.
Ohio State University (Columbus)
Ohio State University is one of the oldest universities in the United States and the third largest in the country in terms of campus size. It is a public research university and a designated Land Scholarship University.
With over 200 majors, Ohio State University is a great university not only for its campus, but also for the number of students it enrolls in. There are over 1,000 student organizations, three student councils, and its own track and field and soccer teams. The university also has regional campuses in Lima, Newark, Wooster, Mansfield, and Marion.
